Parks & Recreation
Parks & Recreation is a Division of the Community Services Department. We provide recreational opportunities and quality recreational facilities for East Greenwich residents. Through consolidated efforts the Department collaborates with school programs and youth organizations and maintains all town and school properties.

Facility Information and Reservations
The Parks & Recreation Department manages the outdoor facility reservations for non-profit groups and organized leagues in Town. The Outdoor Facility Use Policy and Fee Structure outlines the rental request and use policies. Facility request forms must be submitted to the office for approval. The Parks & Recreation Department manages the mooring permits and the waiting list for Town moorings in Greenwich Cove. The Town has 110 moorings (resident, non-resident and commercial) permits.The Department also manages the dinghy & kayak rack permits. Permits are renewed in March of each year. Available mooring permits are distributed to the waiting list applicants shortly after the renewal in early spring.-
