Holiday Food Program
The Community Services Department is proud to assist the Town's low-income residents each holiday season. If you are an East Greenwich resident and need assistance with food for Thanksgiving and/or the December holidays, please click on the link below to complete an application. Eligibility for the Holiday Food Program is based on current residency and household income consistent with Federal Poverty Level Guidelines.

Membership is free and classes cost $2.00 for residents and $3.00 for non-residents. We hope that you will join us!

Tips for protecting your identity

Many people don’t realize how many different ways identity thieves can obtain personal information, nor how easy it is for them
to do it. Here’s how to protect yourself:

  • Monitor your bank and credit card statements
  • Do not fall for internet scams
  • Beware of telephone scams (Sign up for the “Do Not Call” list 1-888-382-1222)
  • Be careful with your mail
  • Be careful when using account information in public
