Please Help Make the Town’s 2018 Holiday Donation Program Successful!
The Community Services and Parks Department, through its Community Resource Division, is continuing the East Greenwich Holiday Giving Program.
In November and December, the Department will distribute food baskets to residents in need and deliver prepared meals to seniors and disabled individuals of any age, who will be alone this holiday season.
The Department is also offering the adopt-a-family program, which provides gifts for East Greenwich children (ages 16 and under) in need for the December holidays.
If you are interested in adopting a family in need for the December holidays, please call 886-8669, ext. 4 by Friday, November 16th.
Anyone wishing to donate funds for the holiday baskets or dinners may deliver a check to the Swift Community Center, 121 Peirce Street, Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm or mail a check to:
Town of East Greenwich, Attn: Community Resource Division, PO Box 111, East Greenwich, RI 02818.
The ability of the Town of East Greenwich to meet the requests of families in need fully depends upon the availability of donations and volunteers. The Department is asking that all community partners; individuals, families, and local businesses join us in our efforts to serve the community during the holidays.
For more information, please contact the Town’s Community Resource Division by calling 886-8669, ext. 4.
