What are the filing requirements for new and existing businesses?

All active businesses and leasing agents are required to file an Annual Return with the Tax Assessor each year.   These returns go out in the mail in late November and are due back in March of the following year.  These forms are used to verify assets and generate assessed values for tangible property located in the municipality.  Failure to file can result in penalties and forfeits an entity's ability to appeal their tax assessment.  For more information, please contact the Tax Assessor.
